Introduction:
The purpose of ISO 22000 Lead Auditor Training course is to equip learners with the necessary knowledge and abilities to conduct first, second, and third-party audits of a Food Safety Management System (FSMS) in compliance with ISO 22000:2018. It has been meticulously designed and developed, taking into account ISO 19011:2018, ISO TS/22003:2013, and ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015, where applicable.
Successful completion of ISO 22000 Lead Auditor Training course fulfils the prerequisites for individuals aspiring to become registered FSMS Auditors or Lead Auditors under esteemed organizations such as IRCA (International Register of Certificated Auditors) and CQI (Chartered Quality Institute).

ISO 22000 Lead Auditor Training Pre-Requisites:
Attendees of ISO 22000 Lead Auditor Training course must possess a prerequisite level of "expected prior knowledge" concerning the fundamental principles, concepts, and requirements of food safety management:
- A computer or laptop with a camera, and speaker with proper internet connection.
- The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle and its use in FSMS.
- The Basic elements of a food safety management system and the interrelationship between top management responsibility, procedures, policy, objectives, planning, implementation, risk assessment, measurement correction and corrective action, review and continual improvement.
- HACCP principles, Hazard analysis, and Principles of food safety management, including prerequisite programs as defined in ISO 22000:2018 standards.
- The relationship between food safety management, the provision of safe food products to prevent or eliminate adverse effects on human health and the proactive improvement of food safety performance.
- Important legal and regulatory requirements of the country and local food safety legislation.
- The understanding of the Food safety management system and its scope, terms and definitions, as explained in ISO 22000:2018 standards.

ISO 22000 Lead Auditor Training course includes a 2 hours examination and on successful completion, delegates will be awarded a certificate of achievement. In case the delegate does not qualify for the exam but attended the full course can re-sit for the exam within 12 months of the course end date.
