Introduction:
The purpose of ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Course is to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and abilities to conduct audits, including first-party, second-party, and third-party audits, for Occupational Health Safety Management Systems based on ISO 45001. It has been meticulously designed and created following the relevant standards, ISO 19011 and ISO 17021, to ensure compliance.
By completing ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Course, individuals will fulfill the prerequisites for becoming registered as an Auditor or Lead Auditor for IRCA (International Register of Certificated Auditors).

Participants enrolling in this course are expected to possess a certain level of prerequisite knowledge in the following areas:
- Explain the purpose of the occupational health and safety management system, of occupational health and safety management system standards, and the business benefits of improved performance of the occupational health & safety management system.
- Outline the structure and content of ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Course.
- Explain the specific occupational health & safety management system-related requirements of ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Course.
This knowledge may be gained by Completing an IRCA-certified OHSMS Foundation Training course or equivalent.

After completing this course, participants will have the ability to:
- Describe the purpose of an occupational health and safety management system, as well as the significance of occupational health and safety management system standards and the business benefits associated with the improved performance of such a system.
- Explain the responsibilities of an auditor in terms of planning, conducting, reporting, and following up on an audit of an occupational health and safety management system, adhering to the principles of ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021.
- Skillfully plan, conduct, report, and follow up on an audit of an occupational health and safety management system to determine compliance with ISO 45001, while also following the guidelines of ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021.

ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Course includes a 2 hours examination and on successful completion, delegates will be awarded a certificate of achievement. In case the delegate does not qualify for the exam but attended the full course can re-sit for the exam within 12 months of the course end date.
