Pre-Requisites:
Delegates attending this course are required to have a minimum level of “expected prior knowledge” in the following areas:
a) Explain the purpose of a quality management system, of Quality Management Systems standards, and the business benefits of improved performance of the quality management system.
b) Outline the structure and content of ISO 9001 and its relationship with ISO 9000
c) Explain the specific Quality Management related requirements of ISO 9001. This knowledge may be gained by Completing an IRCA-certified OHSMS Foundation Training course or equivalent.
Learning Outcome:
Upon completion of this course, delegates should be able to:
- Explain the purpose of the Quality Management System, quality management systems standards, management system audit, third-party certification and the business benefits of improved performance of the quality management system.
- Explain the role of an auditor in planning, conducting, reporting and following up a Quality Management System audit following ISO 19011, and ISO/IEC 17021.
- Plan, conduct, report and follow up an audit of a Quality Management System to establish conformity (or otherwise) with ISO 9001 and following ISO 19011, and ISO/IEC 17021.

Examination:
ISO 9001 2015 Lead Auditor Course includes a 2 hours examination and on successful completion, delegates will be awarded a certificate of achievement. In case the delegate does not qualify for the exam but attended the entire course can re-sit for the exam within 12 months of the course end date.
